I installed Alpha 6 which is the last Alpha build (for Hardy) from the Ubuntu team. This one looks neat. In fact, I used Brasero to burn Alpha 6 in Alpha 5; it was a breeze.
This time, I reverted back to /home partition (from the /usr) and things went great. The nm-applet had a problem in Alpha 5 which has been fixed.
Damn, the beta is already out!!!
So, there you go.
